Tuesday Rant - Yesterday two things got right up my nose!! And for me epitomises the reasons why people in this country need to give themselves a proper shake! 1. I (stupid me) left office my keys on the team bus on Sunday. I call the Coach depot first thing Monday morning to ask if they were handed in. Answered by …..No keys handed in, the driver checks the bus after every hire and nothing has been found…..No..ill take youre number and call if they are found etc…More or less…get off the phone you pest! ….So, the pest that I am, decided to call back to ask if they had re-checked…..woman on the other end of the phone less than delighted to hear from me again!! Same response…Nae Keys!! So, Im literally baffled as to how they could be lost when I was the last person off the bus and knew where they were lying!! I decide to drive in to look for them myself and make a right proper pest of myself….I get there only to meet the actual driver, who tells me he didnt see them at all and to maybe check the wheelie bin in case they might have been flung out with any rubbish left on the bus!! So, elbow deep in rubbish, I start searching for my Big Bunch of Keys……Some guy walks over and asks if Ive lost something. He then says…were the keys on a big green key fob….Yup they were….aye well pal. I found them on the seat last night and gave them to the lassie in reception this morning!!!! F**king AAARRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!! 2. I drive up to overland garage last night to buy some fuel and a bag of smokeless coal that they keep in one of the wee boxes outside the garage door……Can I have a bag of youre smokeless coal please?……Oh sorry, I just locked it up for the night….you see, its quite hard to lock and unlock it and I hurt my finger shutting it…really sorry pal. If you had arrived 5 minutes ago I could have sold you some……Was it locked in big barn with an alarm system and five differant coded locks??…..Was it Fook!!! It was a silly wee padlock on a sliding panel….. For me….That sums up the pathetic, lazy, unhelpful, work shy…. couldnt give a F**k attitude that is far to common place in this part of the world!! People back here….instead of criticising asian people, should take a bloody good look at why they are so successful…..Its called work ethic and hard graft!! Rant over….
