Tuesday – 21 January 2014 Reading: Luke 7:38 Then she knelt behind Him at His feet, weeping. Her tears fell on His feet, and she wiped them off with her hair. Reflection: Often there are times in our lives when we just do not know which way to turn. It feels as though the storms of life hit us from all sides, there are winds that blow us off our feet, and we feel as though we will never make it through the day. Have you ever felt like that? Well, when that is the feeling that you are experiencing, then do the one thing that the Word tells us about. Fall at His feet. The woman referred to in this text did not have a good reputation. She had done many things that brought her pain and anguish. People spoke about her in hushed tones, and the pain that that brought to her life was intolerable. When Jesus came to that place, and she saw Him, she fell at His feet. That was the only thing that she could do. She poured out her heart through her tears. She told Him all. Down at the feet of the Lord is really the best place to be. It is the place where we find the grace and mercy that we need. We find the help and security that we long for at His feet. Can I meet you there? Breath-prayer: Father, thank you that there is place for us all at Your feet. In Jesus name, Amen
