Two jobs underway at same time in the vineyard. Slashing weeds between rows and fertilising vines through the drip irrigation system. Allows me to see which drippers are leaking and needing attention before the warmer weather. Often chewed by kangaroos! Using soluble fertilizers .. Very efficient with each vine getting a a metered volume based on how many drippers have been installed in line near it. Struggling vines often have an extra dripper for more water over summer, and using irrigation to deliver the fertiliser, they also get a little more nutrient. Aim is to have an even vineyard in terms if vigour.
