Two presidents of two countries who were at war with each other - TopicsExpress

Two presidents of two countries who were at war with each other for years have finally agreed it is time to settle their differences. They have come up with a peace treaty to sign but none of them want to sign before the other. So an ambassador of the United Nations has came up with an idea to settle the dispute. He will take the two presidents, each on the opposite side of a ten foot table with a light bulb in the center, and when the bulb lights up, both presidents will sign the treaty. Both saw the light simultaneously and signed at the same time. Meanwhile, two other presidents have the same dilemma; and the U.N. Ambassador set up the same process. However the only difference is that the signing will be on a train moving forward. One nation, say Rohan, is sitting facing the front while the other, say Mordor, is facing the back of the train. The light bulb ignites and the two presidents sign the treaty. Now there were people witnessing the signing outside the train as it went by. The citizens of Rohan said that their president was cheated because they saw their leader signing before Mordors leader. However, the people who were on the train (president body guards, media taping the occasion, etc.) said that they both signed it simultaneously as well. Which group of people were right, the ones outside the train or the ones inside the train? Ill post the answer tomorrow, feel free to comment your answers.
