Two weeks ago I handed in my resignation letter, explaining that I wanted to leave Budget and pursue my interests in life Feeling nervous I give my letter to my boss and he looks at me and simply asks why. I explain that I want to go traveling while Im young because I feel my life lacks direction and motivation at the moment. Instead of attempting to persuade me into staying or giving any negative innuendos, he looks at me and says Good on you. Get out there and explore and live life to the fullest. He even said I can get a job down south with Budget and use him as a reference. In my opinion a good boss is one who keeps everyone happy even if it means letting them go, rather than someone who makes lots of money but makes everyone unhappy. People like this kind of restore my faith in humanity and remind me that not everyone in life is money driven and greedy. There are some people that understand and put others first and are just legitimately decent human beings.
