Two weeks later it has finally sunk in... my daddys gone from this earth and hes not coming back. I miss him terribly. This weekend was supposed to be spent with a trip home to celebrate the new year and my parents 40th wedding anniversary. Thinking about what should have been is unbearable but I am hanging in there. To my wonderful friends and family who have been reaching out and offering comfort and support these past couple of weeks, I know its difficult to figure out what to say to someone who is grieving which is why many people tend to be avoidant in times like this. I am so thankful for you and appreciate you so much... hearing from you all daily and knowing youre there praying for me and thinking of me is more than enough and keeps me going. Thank you. This is going to be a long process, getting to feel somewhat normal again, but I know that with you by my side I will get through it.
