Tết Holiday 2014 Vietnam With the Tết Holiday upon us once - TopicsExpress

Tết Holiday 2014 Vietnam With the Tết Holiday upon us once again the SIFL wants to wish and safe and fun filled holiday to all our fans, players, and staff that make the league possible. Without everyone we would not be able to have such a competitive and highly spirited championship again this year! With the battle at the top of the table extremely tight, there are a number of teams looking to take home the Championship in 2014. This season has been full of excitement so far and after the break we will enter the second half of the season fully and all team will be playing hard to ensure they aren’t at the bottom of the ranking come May. With 4 teams now separating themselves from the pack there looks to be no clear favorite right now but don’t tell that to Gemadept, Hotshots, or NTV as they all hold a game in hand currently with only a couple points separating the leaders. However, it should be mentioned that all the teams still have a chance at the title depending on how things shape up for the teams in the second half. Typically the SIFL is accustomed to seeing dramatic changes in the 2nd half of the season, with teams trading, losing, and gaining players, there is always room for change. Sometimes this works out for the best, while other times these spell doom for teams that rely on key players to generate the points. Regardless the situation for each team, one thing is for sure for all the teams in 2014, there can be only 1 SIFL Champion in 2014. Plus with the Cup still to be played this season, there could still be a considerable momentum shift to happen, so stayed tuned for all the action! As always, the SIFL will break for 2 weeks during the season of celebration in Vietnam and South East Asia, and we hope that everyone is able to take this time to relax, enjoy family, visit friends, get well rested, and of course train hard! See You On The Pitch! Sincerely, Justin L. Colebrissi SIFL Chairman
