U DYS HET - Dickie Webb. 2014 Audio/Visual Digital Collage. Composed of glitched sound samples collected by processing digital photographs through sound software. The video is the original image sample and sound layered together. The piece itself was created in Yerevan, Armenia whilst on residency there. The photographs were taken in the various parks throughout the city. The parks were in various states of repair whilst still being busy social places. The idea was to sample the images from certain utopian, heterotopian and dystopian parks. When the piece was composed the sounds allowed these three ideas to overlay both through sound and visual. vimeo/user11365947/u-dys-het
