U.S. Secret Service director Julia Pierson resigns in wake of - TopicsExpress

U.S. Secret Service director Julia Pierson resigns in wake of congressional investigation of security breeches leading up to the most recent event of an intruder scaling the White House fence getting through the front door through the lobby that leads up an oval staircasing to the presidential living quarters. Fortunately the intruder remained on the main floor traipsing through the East Room until confronted quite by accident in the Green Room by an agent. It will be very easy to blame the degradation of the presidential security detail on a female director, but it will be wise to keep in mind it is the male factor that has brought about so much of this directors headaches. This may be a good time to bring on board retired Army General Wes Clark to head up and shape up the Presidential security team and the entire department in general. In the interim I think it is perfectly in order to assign several uniformed U S Marines to be on the property 24/7 to augment a Secret Service that has been hobbled by inattention and discipline. I am sure there are more than enough mentally deranged gun nutter terrorists domestic and foreign who think their opportunity is now to act out more aggressively and violently. The risk could not be higher with the USSS getting upwards of 400 threats against the president on a monthly basis.
