UAAP 77 Sports Update / Team Standing SEP. 11-16 Cheerdance Competition : The DLSU Animo Squad finished this years Cheerdance Competition at sixth place with a total score of 577 points National University took home first place in the UAAP Season 77 Cheerdance Competition with their Native American-inspired performance. Coming in at second and third place, respectively, were the University of the Philippines and the University of Santo Tomas. The DLSU Animo Squad finished sixth and was unable to duplicate last years top three finish, but had a well received performance that featured an intergalactic theme. The second day, September 11, played host to the both the Green Jins and the Lady Jins first defeat. GAME RECAP: TABLE TENNIS Green Paddlers defeats UE, NU, and UST, 3-0, 3-0 and 3-1 The Green Paddlers breezed through both UP and Adamson Game 1: DLSU defeats UP, 3-0. Game 2: DLSU defeats AdU, 3-0. The Lady Paddlers defeated ADMU but failed to triumph against UP. Game 1: DLSU defeats ADMU, 3-0. Game 2: DLSU lost to UP, 1-3. (Goarchers) Both the DLSU Green Paddlers and Lady Paddlers finished the first round of the UAAP Season 77 Table Tennis tournament, held last September 13 and 14, on top of their respective divisions. The Green Paddlers are undefeated in seven outings thus far while the Lady Paddlers are in a triple tie for the lead with a 5-1 win-loss record.
