UGH. Only 6 hours left before my birthday. This is going to be tough. But, I am going to reflect on the moments and people that have defined me as a person and professional over the last 30 years. I have some of the best friends anyone could ask for, and I feel empowered just being around them. Some were roommates for a short-time that turned into friendships for a lifetime Devin Hocutt, Christopher Langdon and Tom Besade. Some of my friends have been with me since the beginning of dreams of becoming a pharmacist and have seen the good, the bad and the ugly sides of me. Yet they continue to be unconditional, for that I am the luckiest person in the world: Jennifer Clark, Courtney Schammel, Ariel Joy Benton, Janine Kushner. And a very few new friends who have been with me through some very trying times, and despite my later regret for using them as a human venting pipe, their advice and words of encouragement never stopped providing me with the courage I needed to keep going: Nathan Sherron, L Alex Wishon, and Greg Howell. And as always, when I needed a laugh or someone to celebrate lifes accomplishments, I earned the privilege to be in the company of Natasha Stokes, Marsha Reneé, Michele Hodges Simmons, Erica Dellinger, Asia McConnell, James-Ginny Chamberlain, Chase Westen, Bronson Lowery and Jeff Kellogg. Lastly, my family who have never given up on me chasing my dreams: Diane Carter Rouse, Dana Carter Bergeron and John (I LOVE YOU GUYS)!! Here is to New Beginnings! #cheers
