UH lands O-lineman, per the WB... One of the top offensive linemen in American Samoa has decided to join the Rainbow Warriors 2015 recruiting class. Eperone Moananu of Tafuna High told the Star-Advertiser he has agreed to accept a football scholarship, will sign in February, and join the Rainbow Warriors for the 2015 season. Moananu is 6-2 and 290 pounds. He plays tackle for Tafuna, which has won consecutive high school championships under Okland Salave‘a. UH line coach Chris Naeole, who is the point recruiter, was a Colorado player when he met Salave‘a, a Buffalo alumnus. Moananu is the third pledge to UHs 2015 class, following offensive tackle Jordan Agusiva of Mililani High and linebacker Jonah Moi of Riverside Community College. Whats more, quarterback Aaron Zwahlen, receiver/running back John Ursua, and offensive lineman Gus Lavaka will join the Warriors next year after returning from church missions.
