UK and Ireland Weather Cold north with some snow, unsettled south Tuesday Cloud and some showers in Portugal and the west of Spain today. Low pressure in the Mediterranean brings more cold weather to the Balearics with heavy showers or rain here. Cloud and some outbreaks of rain in Italy, heavy showers in the far south. Milder for Greece with sunny spells here and staying fair with sunshine in Turkey too. Some rain and showers in northwest France, otherwise it will be largely dry and cold. Fair and cold across the Low Countries and northwest Germany, but cloud and some snow in eastern parts of Germany and through Poland. Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland may be rather cloudy and cold with some outbreaks of snow. Cloud and snow at times through Denmark, feeling cold here. Chilly throughout the Baltic States and in Finland too. Further snow flurries for Sweden and staying cold in Norway but mostly dry. Wednesday A cold day to come in Spain and Portugal. Showers for the Balearics, some of them heavy. Further showers or rain affecting much of Italy, with some heavy showers in Greece and Turkey too. Heavy rain for the north and west of France on Wednesday. Mainly dry in Germany and chilly here. Chilly in Poland but staying dry and mainly cloudy. More cloud and some drizzle to come in Hungary, Poland and Switzerland. Dry with a few bright spells for Denmark today. Cloud and some snow in the Baltic States, whilst Finland is going to be cold and dry. Some snow in southern Sweden, although Norway stays chilly but dry.
