UNIQUENESS: Do not expect God to speak to you like He spoke to or speaks to another... In finding Gods will in marriage, many have heard audible voices, some heard still small voices, others saw dreams, some felt something, others just made the move based on the peace they felt, etc. None of these is a standard, so do not expect God to speak to you like He spoke to Elijah (Still small voice) or like He spoke to Paul (Audible voice), or like he spoke to Peter (perception), etc. God is awesome and He relates with His children differently. To hear God speak to you, you MUST FIRST DEVELOP A RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM. This would enable you know how He speaks. I can talk to my daughter and give her instructions with just the eye contact, or just by moving my fingers or toes or body movements. I will do these because she is used to those signs and she will obey or do a thing based on that. If I use such signs on a stranger, he or she may not understand. So to know how God speaks, build a firm relationship with Him, then you will understand His unique communication style with you.. GOD IS STILL SPEAKING TO HIS CHILDREN IN AREAS OF MARRIAGE, BUSINESS, CAREER, ETC. At times, we are in a very noisy place, making it hard to hear Him; or we have not yet learned to differentiate His voice from the voice of flesh. At times, to hear God clearly, you may need to move away from the crowd and get yourself into a quiet place where there would be no voice interference or resonance. GOD SPEAKS!...... The Scribe.
