UNWORTHY AFCON 2013 DEFENDING CHAMPIONS Oh, what a bad night for Super Eagles of Nigeria! They needed a win in Khartoum to keep their hope of qualifying for AFCON 2015 in Morocco, but they couldnt. Instead, they lost. With only one point in their kitty, against South Africas seven and Congo PRs six, our hope of reaching Morocco 2015, is fast fading away. This is an evidence that Nigeria didnt deserve to win last years AFCON Championship. They were simply lucky and you cant be lucky all the time. This result has confirmed the reason why South Africa didnt go for Stephen Okechukwu Keshi, when they were looking for a coach. His performance in the FIFA Confederation Cup and the main World Cup Mundial, were absolutely too poor. Now, the chips are down, is it not high time we sacked Keshi? Nigeria should forget about next years AFCON 2015 in Morocco, we are not going to qualify. Kelechi Iheanacho has matured, yet Keshi wasnt able to see him as a potential material. A young man that trains with Manchester City senior team? Oh, its a pity that whom we call our coach is nothing , but a gambler. What about Ike Uche? Keshi told Nigerians that Ike Uche doesnt play to instructions, hence he was not invited for this years Word Cup in Brazil. Ike Uche plays well in the shirts of Villareal, hence the coach still have faith in him, why wouldnt Keshi? But when the chips were down, Keshi invited him for todays match, but he turned Keshi and Nigeria down. Is he to blame? If you were in his shoes, wouldnt you have done same? Just because of Emmanuel Emenike, Keshi shut the doors against Ike Uche,did Emenike do well today? If Nigeria wants to grow thick again in football, let us sack Keshi now, employ a new foreign unbiased coach, to take our football to the next level. Nigerians forced Keshi to invite Peter Osaze Odenwingie for this years FIFA senior Word cup. He played against Iran. Keshi removed him, telling Nigerians that he didnt play to instructions. He didnt play Osaze against Argentina. Against Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nigerias NFF members forced Keshi to play Osaze and he did. The game ended 1-0 in favour of Nigeria and Osaze was the goal scorer. The stone which the builder had rejected, had turned out to be the head corner of the stones. This was a sign that Keshi cant read games, hence South Africa cancelled their bid for him. Keshi, who had announced his resignation( as Super Eagles Coach) after the second round game of Brazil 2014 World Cup match against France, which Nigeria failed to go through to the Quarter Finals(France 1vs Nigeria 0, no thanks to Paul Pogba), rushed back to proclaim that he was misquoted, after South Africa Footall Association(SAFA) had given the job to their own, Ephraim Mashaba. The same Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) still welcomed him back. What a foolish act? Today, the result of his coming back is telling itself whom Keshi is. He is a Gambler! Keshi is taking Nigerian Football backwards. Sack him now! I
