** UPDATE - There is NO evacuation for the Town of Fox Creek, the evacuation does NOT repeat, does NOT affect the Town of Fox Creek. As you may be aware there is an evacuation posted on Alberta emergency website however A/CAO/Town of FC, Roy Dell has contacted the local RCMP and disaster services and they are NOT aware of a evacuation for Fox Creek at this time. The fire is in Red Deer Creek, B.C not too far from Tumbler Ridge, approximately 250-300 kms from the Town of Fox Creek, according to Mayor Jim Ahn. If we hear anything we will advise as such.
