**UPDATE**ALERT** Be weather aware early this week in the south. Please share with your friends. A vigorous storm system will head east with damaging winds, hail and isolated tornadoes possible from the Midwest to the Deep South. Like Chris Justus, Meteorologists page for the latest. A sunny and warm day will be on tap Sunday with temperatures nearly 10 degrees above normally this week a vigorous storm system will move east from the plains Monday. There could be some significant severe weather in the Midwest and Deep South early this week. Here at home the storms wont be quite as strong, but severe weather will be possible. Our main threat will be from gusty winds and large hail. The time frame looks to be on Monday and Tuesday. In fact, the Storm Prediction Center has our are highlighted under an elevated risk for severe weather during that time frame. Temperatures will be mild in the upper 70s, that will help fuel potential storms. Heavy rain lingers Wednesday and by Thursday skies will slowly clear back out with cooler temperatures.
