**UPDATE** Alyssas surgeon was in and out within an hour. Before surgery they tested her responses from her brain (checking for paralysis on each side through electrodes) she failed both. They went in thinking she was 100% paralyzed from her neck down. After getting in they realized instead of taking bone from her hip (which they were sure they would need) the bone had already healed and that no graph from her hip was needed. They planned to fuse c-1 vertebra all the way to c-4, with a chance of needing to fuse to c-6 (Once they got in they decided only fusing c-1 to c-2 was needed) The spinal cord injury (large tare they needed to fix as well as putting a drain in the brain to drain fluid) disappeared. They tested electrode movements again after surgery. Right side Is completely normal. Left is very weak (However not paralyzed) Waiting to see her. Our God is great. Please continue to pray!
