UPDATE: COCO & HANK (BOOTS) They are both improving and their foster carers Natasha and Brent are doing an amazing job with them!! Hank’s skin/coat is starting to grow back, he is still requiring weekly demodex shots and his medicated shampooing and conditioning!! Coco’s skin is also improving but we have now found out she is having some issues around toileting (especially emptying her bowels) her carer took her to the vets for x-rays and it was not so awesome a result. She has very bad arthritis on her spine and looks like it has been caused by blunt trauma meaning she cannot arch her back (originally it was thought to be hip dysplasia) so it is very sad to think that she has been struck/hit and had this damage caused to her poor little body. There is nerve damage causing her legs to be weak. We have some medicine and Coco had an overnight stay at the vets on Saturday to video her in her sleep regarding her pooing everywhere. But we think she has pain in her back getting into position to poo and pee. It seems to happen in movement. It is very costly to keep the vet work up for these two beautiful babies (every bit is totally worth it and they ARE WORTH EVERY CENT) but if you would like to contribute to their ongoing vet costs our bank details are as follows: BSB: 084-259 Acct No: 84-243-1624.
