UPDATE DAY 49-Had a very good day. No episodes of dizzeness when getting up or walking. No more episodes of confusion. Meant to tell everyone when he was confused and getting upin ICU. Evidently not only was he sitting in the Nurses chair in front of computer he was spinning around in circles. Anurse siad she ask him what he was doing, and he stated A new doughnut shop opened up and I am going to get everyone coffee and doughnuts. And he wonders why he had a sitter. Conts to be on Antibiotics for driveline. Apparently during one of the falls he had pulled on his driveline. No infection just a little redness. Protocol for LVAD patients if Driveline is pulled on to rough. Hopefully if Cardiac Drs. are happy with Labs he will be discharged tommorrow. Mom was moved out of ICU today. Getting her up in chair for short periods of time. Still can not stand on feet. Very Sore. She was even bragging about the Male Nurses and how well they take care of her. Never thought my Mom would let a Male Nurse give her a bath. Prayers are much appreciated. Goodnight All, Love each and every one of you. God is Good.
