UPDATE ON MY MOM: Today marks the first day that my mom was able to stand up long enough (without her walker & without hurting) for me to take a pic of her! PRAISE THE🙏 LORD🙏 INDEED! She will have to remain using her walker for another month and then another ctscan of her pelvis will be done! As you can see, the bruises on the left side of her face are disappearing a little more everyday! She was able to have the stitches (from surgery on her left wrist) removed! She will have to remain in her cast on wrist for another month as well and then another ctscan of wrist will be completed! So...even though this continues to be a lengthy road to recovery, we know the Lord is holding my mom in the palm of His hands 🙏and she is beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel! Thanks to my dad for being THE BEST CAREGIVER EVER and thanks to all of our family & friends for your prayers, visits, meals, calls, texts, cards, flowers, etc. I also wanted to send a special thanks to one of my BFFs, Karen Moss Proffitt, for being sooo very thoughtful today by coming to visit my mom & bringing her favorite lunch (Chez Cafes Chicken Salad Sandwiches)! They were delicious...YUMMY!🍞🍴👍 She also brought her fantastic sense of humor 😜 with her too as she had my mom posing for silly pics with her specially designed walker! 😃 Like they always say, Laughter Is The Best Medicine!!! LOL...
