UPDATE ON THE CHIMA OBINNAS MOLESTATION BY UNIDENTIFIED DSS OFFICIALS After my lengthy phone conversations with Mr. Chima Obinna yesterday and most parts of today, I made out time to meet him in person, and we had more than two hours of face to face interaction. This is the first time I am meeting this great soul, but I must tell you that we glued immediately. He is a rare breed and the kind of youth we desire in this part of the world. He maintained all the stories he told me yesterday, and went ahead to show me the bruises he sustained from the overzealous DSS officials. Mr. Chima was not at fault in any way and does not deserve the treatment he received from those lowly animals who called themselves security agents. The beneficial dimension to this whole saga is that it has helped us to identify one more of the many blackmailers who has cashed into the vibrancy of the social media to advance their illicit trade in lies and character deformation. Truth is; Mr. Chima has never set his eyes on this Gift Okedinma. What happened is that one of his friends and a colleague in the office where he works, got wind of what happened to him and rushed down to where he was and took shots of him, without telling him what he intended to do with it. That is the story of how Gift Okedimma got hold of his photos. He never told anybody that Ihedioha was in that convoy and he does not believe that the eight DSS officials who attacked him were attached to Emeka Ihedioha. Commonsense solves that riddle. There is no how Emeka Ihedioha will be somewhere else, while his security details will be in another place. My unconfirmed information is that these DSS officials were some of the security agents deployed from Abuja in preparation to the Presidents botched visit to Imo State. All hands must be on deck to find out the identity of these DSS guys, to ensure that they are brought to book. Chima Obinna is a man of integrity, he has received enormous threats and appeals from different quarters for him to come out and tell lies against the Deputy Speaker. But in his own words I have a name to protect, with all the money in this world, I will never say what did not happen.The deputy Speaker was not there, and I will never say he was there. I had enviable family upbringing and I cannot betray my fathers good reputation for pittance. An overfed wren (nwa nza) will challenge its god to a wrestling match. This is the only explanation I can give to Gift Okedimmas constant threat messages to Mr. Chima Obinna. Gift Okedimma has sent more than three text messages to this gentleman, who is old enough to be his father, telling him to either rescind on the truth he is saying or he will ensure that he looses his job. I do not know what powers Gift thinks he wields, but I am certain that he is no more than an unfed wren, with a very wrong estimation of himself. Gift Okedimma has also threatened this gentleman who is old enough to be his father and rich enough to feed Gifts entire kindred that he will get his (Chimas) friends to address a press conference telling the world what did not happen as if it happened. I do not know if this little brother of mine, called Gift has started abusing harmful substances, but I suspect he does. If not, what will make him think that someone will tell Chimas story better than Chima. Gift certainly thinks that those who read him on social media are idiots. Tomorrow, I shall be in Awaka to interview those who witnessed the incident and I hope to feed you guys better on this. It is also important to clear the air that one Chibuzo Victor is another harbinger of falsehood in this whole saga, whose misrepresentations should not be taken seriously. Obinna Chima is a hardworking young man with a family. He has four beautiful children and from a good background. Nobody gave him the clothes he changed into. He had spare clothes in his car which he changed into after the incident. We must be careful with the kind of lies we spread against people. Lastly, let me warn a good friend of mine, who is an aide to a top official of Imo State government to desist from instigating this blackmail because its boomerang will be seriously unpalatable to both himself and his principal. I will want to believe that you were deceived into joining this battle, because you do not have the slightest basis for involving yourself in this. Your principal is not contesting anything with Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, and I must advise you to concentrate on your duty of ensuring that your principal is well accepted by the people, and also ensure a smooth image for your principal especially within this tensed political period. My last warning to Gift Okedimma is that he should pull down that mendacious post and do an immediate apology to those concerned, else my hands will be tied in my attempt to calm the situation on his behalf. Let me remind Gift that he risks twenty one years imprisonment for blackmail. He might think he can hide, but when the law is after you, you can only run, but you cannot hide. A word is enough for the wise. The ball is in your court. Let me assure all those who are genuinely interested in Imos betterment that this struggle for Imos betterment will never be derailed, for no force on earth can stop an idea whose has come. TRUTH IS SACRED, IMO GA ADI MMA OZO!
