UPDATE: We had a very productive reunion meeting and here is a summary of what was discussed. We have approximately 150 people coming, however, we are planning on 175 in case someone changes their mind and would like to join us. Activities for the kids will be a bounce house, a tour of the fire trucks, a corn hole game, and a couple soccer balls to kick around. The young at heart activities will include lots of conversation and sharing of memories via photos and story telling. (I suggest you put your names on any pictures you bring to share.) With the Walter sense of humor, Im sure there will be plenty to laugh about. The menu will be hamburgers and hot dogs, baked beans, salt potatoes, brownies, and watermelons, plus whatever everyone brings for their dish to pass. Beverages will be bottled water, soda, decaf coffee and tea. All paper products and utensils will be provided. Name tags will be available for you to fill out when you arrive. We will be setting up at 9:00 am and the event starts at 11:00 am and goes until....... If anyone has any questions, I can be reached at 889-7320. I posted two pictures below. I probably made a mistake on a name or two, but this was one of the Walter reunions I remember down at the Union Springs Park. For those of you traveling, keep safe and we cant wait to see everyone soon. For those of you who have helped put this reunion together, thank you. And a big thank you to Mike Murray for all his assistance. He is a wealth of information on event planning.
