UPSC Civil Services exam 2013 results out ____________________________________ The Union Public Services Commission on Thursday released the list of successful candidates in the Civil Services Examination 2013. A total number of 1,112 candidates have been recommended for appointment to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and Groups A and B of the central services. The written examination of Civil Services Examination, 2013, was held by the Union Public Service Commission in December 2013 and the interviews for Personality Test were held in April-June, 2014. Of the 1,112 successful candidates, 517 appeared as General category candidates while 326 as Other Backward Classes, 187 as Scheduled Castes and 92 as Scheduled Tribes candidates. Of these, 180 will be selected to fill up vacancies in the Indian Administrative Services, 32 in Indian Foreign Services and 150 in the Indian Police Services; 710 candidates will be given Group A positions of the central services and 156 Group B positions of the central services. The results can be accessed on the UPSC website upsc.gov.in. The marks of the candidates are likely to be made available within 15 days.
