URGENT NEED FOR HELP!!! SWEET BOSTON TERRIER BUMBLEBEE: boxerRescuevt.tripod to donate PLEASE I am heartbroken to report that Bumblebee’s glaucoma pressure caused his damage to his cornea & this morning we discovered big bubble full of blood on his eyeball this morning took him to the vets and it seems pressure caused cornea to burst. Poor sweet bumblebee already had had one eye removed previously due to unresolvable medical problems… Faced with either putting him to sleep, or removing the eye … which the vet tells us at his young age he should adjust fine to being blind provided his forever family (when found) will learn proper adaptive care methods for him (showing him where food and water are, keeping sharp cornered furniture away from him etc…) 570.374.2247 To donate to vet bill directly, or boxerrescuevt.tripod to use paypal on the rescue website. Aside from This weeks Medical Urgent situation Bumblebee has already cost the rescue over $2,500. not counting this NEW tragedy. Estimate by vet for yesterdays initial visit and then todays surgery is in the $1,400 range for yesterdays trip there, the pharmacy costs were an additional $90. (vet had told us to try drops, lubricating ointment and pills yesterday but cornea burst from pressure and now it can not be treated with anything else but removal or putting him to sleep, which we dont want to do...
