Dear Sir, This is to inform you that in your jurisdiction a Christian Prayer Meeting is being held at on the Sommayya Grounds, Chunabhatti, Eastern Express Highway, Mumbai, on 31st January, Friday from 4 pm onwards. They have billed this as a Prayer Meeting for the Indian Elections 2014. They have spent huge amount of money on its advertising and promotion all over Mumbai so that maximum number of people come to attend. Our objections are as follows- 1. That the Chairman of the organisation organising this prayer meeting – Paul Dinakaran and the Organisation itself is a world renowned Evangelist and Evangelist Organisation and that his/their primary business under the aegis of that organisation is to Convert innocent and gullible people of other faiths to their faith by cheating and chicanery. 2. That this is a ploy for the Christian Evangelists to get a huge number of people of other faiths also under one roof to do mass-hypnosis and other evangelists activities. If it was a normal Christian Prayer Meeting then why are they inviting people of all faiths to attend. 3. That this may be a secret political plot by some political Party to use religion as a means of impressing the electorate under the guise of secularism to vote for it. 4. That these people are also involved in making false claims of doing miracles and insulting other gods and religions like Allah, Budhha and Hindu gods . What if people following other religions take strong objection and law and order situation worsens and any untoward incidence happens? 5. That in case they attempt to convert people to Christianity under the guise of Prayer for Indian Elections, then they shall be hurting the religious feelings of people of other faiths like the Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Jains and Muslims, etc. whose followers may get converted during this meeting. AND THIS COULD LEAD TO COMMUNAL TENSIONS AND LAW AND ORDER SITUATIONS. We hope you take serious note of this letter and take strict action against this and cancel this programme as early as possible.
