URGENT VACANCY: HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER – Mozambique Our Client in the Construction Business in Southern Africa is looking to engage a Human Resources Manager for their Mozambique operation. The Human Resources Manager will guide and manage the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the company within mid-sized company, The major areas the Human Resources manager manages can include: • recruiting and staffing; • organizational departmental planning; • performance management and improvement systems; • organization development; • employment and compliance to regulatory concerns regarding employees; • employee on-boarding, development, needs assessment, and training; • policy development and documentation; • employee relations; • company-wide committee facilitation; • company employee and community communication; • compensation and benefits administration; • employee safety, welfare, wellness and health; • charitable giving; and • employee services and counseling. • Industrial relations The Human Resources manager originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented; high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards; goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. The Human Resources manager is responsible for the development of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the organizations business goals. Qualification: The ideal candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge. These points should align with the key areas of responsibility: • Bachelor in Business Administration/Human Resources Management • Relevant post-graduate degree desirable Skills Required: • Senior HR management experience, preferably in large company in Southern Africa • Minimum 5-7 years experience in a similar position • Strong background in training and development, recruitment, organizational development/effectiveness, employee relations, international workforce, and compensation • Ability to operate, influence and counsel at the most senior level within the HR function to employees • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation skills • Must speak Portuguese and English The successful candidate will be creative and strategic thinker and will have excellent communication, analytical , organizational , interpersonal and cross-culture skills.
