US 276, October 30, shot and comments from last fall - By the time October gets here the road should be in much better condition. Like NC 215, a section is currently getting the dreaded tar & chip coating over the sweet black asphalt that has been laid down a few weeks ago. Right now its pretty messy through here while the work is in progress. Ill be watching to see how the final result turns out. If they roll it in well and sweep, the road should quickly be in good shape.
