US Double Standards - Ukrainian Nazis can shoot referendum voters, but Thais must respect elections featuring unelected fugitives running country remotely... Charlie Campbell of TIME Magazine - a poorly dressed bullhorn of the US State Department - claims that Yingluck Shinawatra was removed from office because she unlawfully replaced the National Security council chief in 2011. The paid liar intentionally fails to mention that she did so to make room for her brother-in-law to become national chief of police, a clear-cut case of 3rd world nepotism, illegal, and very much grounds for dismissal. Campbell goes on in this viewpoint piece for TIME titled, The Battle for Thailand by claiming the rural poor adore Thaksin Shinawata. It might be worth pointing out that Thaksin Shinawatra is a convicted criminal hiding abroad and that it is ALSO ILLEGAL for him to run the country by proxy. Campbell concludes (on behalf of the US State Department) that Washington should insist that results of new elections be honored and that political reforms --mostly to decentralize power away from Bangkok -- be implemented. Of course, this is all with the understanding that Thaksin Shinawatra, a convicted criminal and fugitive, would be contesting the elections either directly or through another nepotist-appointed proxy. It should be mentioned that while Campbell whines about polls being blocked in Thailand where over 50% of the voting population boycotted Februarys elections - in the same May 26 issue of TIME is a picture of armed thugs in Ukraine blocking voters attempting to carry out a referendum to devolve power away from the unelected Nazi regime occupying Kiev. The caption would admit that after the picture was taken, the armed thugs shot dead two of the voters. Double standards like this are why the US and its opinion no longer holds any credibility, and everything they say, do, or support invokes immediate suspicion.
