USA IN PROPHECY USA In Prophecy PART TWO By the way, if you feel America or any other nation on Earth is incapable of preventing you and I from buying and selling, let me ask you this. Do you remember ration stamps that the United States Government strictly enforced during World War II? These ration stamps were used to control the buying and selling of such things as FOOD, FUEL, TIRES, and other necessities of life. If your not old enough to remember these historic facts, ask your parents or grandparents for the truth about this. Or research it on the Internet. I am positive there are millions of historic websites out there with ample information. Plus, with todays technology all they had to do is create an ID Card that will hodl all your private information, which includes your bank records, employment, religiosity, ethnicity, health records, marital status, etc. That way when they ask you the question on that fateful day, do you agree with the Roman mandate? Your answering No! will see all your abilities to buy and sell turned off in an instant anywhere in the world. Is there such a system setup right now that can do this using the Internet? And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. Daniel 3:7-8, Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up. Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews. The government of Daniels day put forth laws that promised death if you did not worship the image it had set up! As we saw, Daniels three friends refused to break the Law of God for the laws of mankind. This of course angered the king of that day, just like it will anger the governing bodies of our day when certain Christians refuse to break the Law of God for the law of man. Daniel 3:14-15, Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up? Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands? Talk about pressure! These three men of God stood the ultimate test in the face of a true enemy determined to kill them in a most painful way if they chose not to worship his image. So, what did they do? Daniel 3:16-18, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. The story DOES have a happy ending just as we will have as well. The Lord Jesus arrived to save them just as He will arrive to prevent the deaths of those true Christians found worthy of enduring the plagues of Revelation. The king did in fact throw Daniels three friends into the fiery furnace. However, this is what he saw after doing so... Daniel 3:24-25, Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. Still, there are many that will see death before the plagues fall. Not all can be part of that Gideon band that have the faith to endire the plagues. The governments of this world will indeed behead many that refuse to go along with the Vatican and its image, for it is written... Revelation 20:4, And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Not to worry... This is all part of the Heavenly plan. 1 Peter 4:12-13 so lovingly declares, Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christs sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. Ellen G. White put it ever so BLUNTLY when she said... The image is made to the first or leopard-like beast, which is the one brought to view in the third angels message. By this first beast is represented the Roman Church, an ecclesiastical body clothed with civil power, having authority to punish all dissenters. The image to the beast represents another religious body clothed with similar power. The formation of this image is the work of that beast whose peaceful rise and mild professions render it so striking a symbol of the United States. Here is to be found an image of the papacy. When the churches of our land, uniting upon such points of faith as are held by them in common, shall influence the State to enforce their decrees and sustain their institutions, then will Protestant America have formed an image of the Roman hierarchy. -Spirit of Prophecy Volume 4, page 278 So... is the USA setting up an image of the beast? Will the Christian Coalition that was formed by Pat Robertson be used by the dragon to get the American politicians passing laws that will guarantee votes as well as pacify the so called Christian churches of America? Will these laws be that pacify the Christian Coalition be Roman laws? Will the American politicians give the Christian Coalition a voice that echoes that of Rome? Will certain Government agencies be re-structured to assure the Vaticans desires are enforced? Bush. For the first time since religious conservatives became a modern political movement, the president of the United States has become the movements de facto leader -- a status even Ronald Reagan, though admired by religious conservatives, never earned. Christian publications, radio and television shower Bush with praise, while preachers from the pulpit treat his leadership as an act of providence. A procession of religious leaders who have met with him testify to his faith, while Web sites encourage people to fast and pray for the president. There are several reasons for the adulation. Religious conservatives have regarded Bush as one of their own since the presidential campaign, when he spoke during a debate of the guidance of Jesus. Ralph Reed, who once led the Christian Coalition and now is chairman of the Georgia GOP, notes that the religious conservative movement no longer plays the institutional role it once did, in part because it succeeded in electing Bush and other friendly leaders. Ashcroft unveiled new guidelines yesterday that will permit agents to more freely conduct surveillance at political rallies and religious gatherings, surf the Internet and mine commercial databases for information. The changes give the FBI -- whose primary mission now is preventing terrorist attacks -- greater ability to gather the intelligence it needs, Ashcroft said. They loosen guidelines imposed after FBI domestic spying scandals of the 1960s and 1970s. But the rule changes, which take effect immediately, quickly drew sharp criticism from civil liberties groups, political activists and some members of Congress, who said they could encourage snooping without cause and a return to the kind of abuses for which the regime of then-FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover became infamous. Americans have not forgotten the abuse of civil liberties which took place in the 60s and 70s under the name of law enforcement, said Rep. Dennis J. Kucinich (D-Ohio). We have to make sure that civil liberties are not placed in jeopardy. Laura W. Murphy, director of the national office of the American Civil Liberties Union, contended that the FBI already has enough authority to develop terrorism cases. They are taking advantage of the publics concern about 9/11 . . . and they are rushing in a whole new set of powers, she said. ...He also gave the FBIs 56 field offices more latitude to launch counterterror investigations without approval from headquarters. Ashcroft said he also was removing a barrier that kept agents from developing leads by surfing public Internet sites unless the work was tied to an individual criminal investigation. The FBI has a long and checkered history of spying and harassing domestic groups, dating to 1950s activity against alleged Communist sympathizers and later investigations of the personal lives of civil rights leaders such as Martin Luther King Jr. The new guidelines do not specifically mention religious institutions. But Justice Department officials confirmed that agents now would be able to enter houses of worship to look for signs of terrorist activity without probable cause or evidence leading them to believe that someone in the group has broken the law, a departure from past practice. Jason Erb, director of governmental affairs for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, said he fears agents will waste resources on broad sweeps that threaten civil rights instead of focusing on actual evidence of crimes.
