USO San Diego is pleased to announce we won a complete IKEA makeover for our Downtown Center cafe! In its fourth year, the IKEA Life Improvement Challenge has customers and co-workers voting for local non-profits to receive an IKEA makeover including products and design expertise. The project will add more of the home-away-from-home feel that USO San Diego is known for and enable us to better serve our patrons on a daily basis. IKEA staff members visited our Downtown Center cafe last Friday to officially present us with the award. The most exciting part was brainstorming for ideas and taking measurements!
