Ugh... I am in the middle of packing my car to leave Utah. And Ive been dragging my feet all day. I HATE moving... And it seems like Im the ever turtle... (Or Crab... Yay for Cancerians!) with my home on my back. I swear after this next gaggle of gigs... I will choose a place to settle down for at least a year or two... If not forever. I love traveling... Dont get me wrong... But when its all you do and you never see your home... It gets old ... And it is. I ask for your prayers in this decision and I pray that I am led to home where I belong... And I can start planting roots firmly on the soil. In one city... And have a bit of normalcy. A puppy, a boy, Volunteer in the local shelter, find a church home, grow a vegetable garden, join a reading group, maybe go back to school and get my neuroscience/psychology degree just for fun...Erie my book... Go sing for sick kids at a childrens hospital, make cool friends to have cool fun girl outings with... Adopt a baby... Learn to knit... Join a Zumba class... I dont know... Anything normal. In one place... Having to packed and unpack makes me long for all that... But then again... When the gigs start... I start loving the road again... So I dunno... Im going to be grateful for the chance to be able to travel until I cant anymore... Cuz when I plant roots... Ill probably long for the road again. Oh to be human! lol Xo
