Ulster Unionist Representatives David Taylor and Andy Moffett have warmly welcomed the commencement of extension works to the Sheepbridge Park and Share site. Councillors Taylor and Moffett said the original park and share car park comprising of 25 spaces and constructed during the A1 dualling scheme had proven to be a huge success and they outlined that the provision of an additional 38 spaces would receive a positive response from motorists who regularly use the facility. The Fews area Councillors stated that the park and share facility at Sheepbridge has been heavily utilised by motorists since its establishment to the extent that vehicles were parking along the road verge adjacent to the site most days. They believed the commencement of extension works would serve to alleviate such problems at the facility.
