Um-k, I just discovered Ive been consuming 400-600 more calories than what Ive been calculating each day over several years. To save money by not going to Starbucks, I make my own yummy coffee. Problem is, Ive never truly measured the creamer Im using. Turns out, what I was calculating as 35 calories is actually about 300. I also put caramel syrup and lite whipped cream in my coffee. The result after my usual two cups of joe per day? 400-600 more calories that I have it been counting at all. Looking back, I began gaining a lot of weight when I started drinking coffee. Each pound is 3500 calories. That means its possible this has been a huge culprit in my agony. Im glad to have discovered this so that I can make the necessary change but extremely sad as I look forward to that first cup each and every day. Sigh...
