Umno-owned newspaper Utusan Malaysia has continued its attack on opposition party DAP. Its Sunday edition, Mingguan Malaysia ran a report that accused Petaling Jaya Utara MP Tony Pua of hurting the feelings of Muslims. It suggested that Pua should emigrate to Taiwan or Hong Kong. It claimed that Pua is lobbying for the closure of Ramadhan markets. Written by an unknown editor under the pseudonym Awang Selamat, it said that Pua had suggested for Ramadhan markets to be closed as they create traffic jams. Pua has since denied the accusations, saying that he did not even mention Ramadhan markets and that they were all lies.
