Unbelievable acts of cruelty on CATS in Sighet _ Maramures County. Unbelievable cases of cruelty in the Unirii neighborhood in the city. Many tenants have complained that somebody tortures the animals around the apartment building nr.8. Tens of cats have been killed or mutilated in that area. The first incident happened in August, when Ion Popovics, who lives in that area, found in front of his garage a cat with the throat slashed, and a few more with their spine broken or killed by darts. Since then the nightmare continues. I coudl save one, but there were some I could not save. Some had the darts in their stomachs, in their spine, they did not survived. Some had their throats slashed right here on this stone, some were struck on their deads. said Ion Popovics. This is who they kill them. Thugs.
