Unbundle us but ensure you empower us to disqualify candidates – Kayode Idowu, CPS, INEC The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has concluded plans to prosecute over 72 persons alleged to have been involved in double registration during the last voters registration exercise in Anambra state. The revelation was made by the Chief Press Secretary to the INEC Chairman, Mr Kayode Idowu this morning on ‘On the Road to 2015’ radio program where he featured as a guest to talk about INEC’s perspective on electoral reform and 2015 elections. He stated that the decision to prosecute offenders is a demonstration of INEC’s commitment to the delivery of its mandate and the promotion of electoral justice, despite the profound institutional incapacity bedeviling the Commission.
