Under PM Lee, the PAP has 1) Opened up the floodgates of immigration, leading to overcrowding, infrastructure breakdown, unfair job competition and hospital bed shortages. 2) Forced the Population White Paper through without proper debate, against the will of the vast majority of Singaporeans. 3) Approved countless fare hikes, despite record profits by transport companies and worsening reliability. 4) Used the NEA to harass destitute senior citizens selling tissues without a license. 5) Refused to introduce a poverty line to gauge the number of low income families. 6) Raised S&CC charges and imposed harsh interest rates on delayed payments and jailed debtors who couldnt pay. 7) Imposed regulations to crack down on internet freedom and deliberately shut down alternative news sites. 8) Used public institutions like the NEA for the purpose of fixing the opposition. 9) Insisted on paying themselves millions of dollars in salaries while rejecting even a basic minimum wage for all workers. 10) Destroyed multiple heritage and nature sites, cemeteries and farms to build more HDB flats to house 6.9 million. So when PM Lee says the PAP has always been on Singaporeans side, I have absolutely no idea what the hell hes talking about.
