Under its immigration and border management program, IOM has been helping Lebanon since June 2013 to develop and implement a strategy to address both regular and complex migration management challenges arising from the Syria crisis, through a rights-based approach. IOM this week donated USD 26,000 worth of equipment to the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) as part of a project funded by the United States to strengthen #Lebanon’s #migration and border management capacity in the context of the Syrian crisis.
