United close in on Turan. Midfielders agent confirms Premier League interest. Manchester United look set to close in on the signing of Atletoco Madrid winger Arda Turan, after his agent has confirmed that there has been interest from a Premier League club. Turan has been in supern form for Atletico this season, with the winger playing a huge part in his sides ever increasing title challenge. David Moyes has scouted the highly rated Turkish international, and could make a formal bid in the next few weeks. The players agent has been quoted in the Spanish press. ‘Arda is playing at a big club with big goals and wants to be a part of their success,’ said agent Ahmet Bulut. ‘We have received an offer from an English club. We will see. ‘There are two sides to every transfer, the player and the club, it’s up to both to decide.’ Turan has previously made no secret of his love of English football, but any move away from Atletico would be difficult as he’s a huge fan favourite. Turan is rated around £15 million, but it is thought that United could bid as much as £20 million for the wingers services.
