Unless you have been through it you have no idea......I am around them everyday, have 89 year old veterans tell me their stories almost everyday day, I am married to one. News Reporters....hell even Obama has NO CLUE! This man had served in Iraq for 4 months.....Iraq. That tells you it had been a while. From my experience when you go through a traumatic event the effects from that event doesnt sink in and come out until 6 months to a year.....obviously takes even longer for some. Its a big thing to make sure our soldiers are okay right when they come back, but I think something should be done 6 months, a year, and year and a half after a war experience. But hey you know......Budget cuts Im sure would prevent that.......thank you again Obama. Im Not very vocal when it comes to Politics, but I am very protectivewhen it involves military. Imagine every morning waking up in a box, wondering if and what will happen that day. Imagine going to sleep in that same box hoping a rocket doesnt come through the side of it while you are trying to rest/sleep. Being on edge 24/7! Could you do it!? Now transition back to being normal cause you are home now. You can sleep peacefully. Problem is its hard to go back to normal.....it takes a while and I mean a long while to Finally sleep and actually sleep good. Believe me I am pissed at this individual and what he did! He shot his fellow soldiers.....but what you will hear in the media will be far from the whole story.....and I blame other living people too. Our store was scheduled to be at ft hood last week but we had things that changed our traveling schedule :(
