Unlike Peter Dewa Moyo, Sulu Captain Chimbetu has proved beyond a reasonable shadow of doubt that he can stand in his fathers big shoes at the same time making his own peculiar brand. Peter Dewa Moyo is largely depending on his fathers musical legacy at live shows. Peter, who has released only one album - Mushonga Mukuru to his name, seems to be struggling to override the various obstacles standing on his way. Moreso, he, like Franco Daka Slomo, is not a talented vocalist who can naturally dig deeper into the depths of his fathers arsenal of lyrics. However, under the auspices of the likes of Macheso & Charamba, he is now a better vocalist. On the other hand, Sulu is the opposite of Young Igwes musical traits. With his latest fifth album, Gunship, released to his name, he has proved to be a force to reckon with. However, unlike Tryson Chimbetu who is perhaps more talented than Captain Sulu, the latter enjoys the support of Zimbabwean politicians, especially in the ruling party tent. This support can be attributed to the revolutionary nature of his fathers lyrics.
