Update #3 Gils recovery is remarkable, he went for his post-op appointment with his surgeon on Thursday and the Doctor said that Gil is way ahead of the game concerning his recovery and getting his movement back! In fact, he told Gil he no longer needed to use the sling on his arm, at 2 weeks, this is astonishing! In fact, he told Gil he can do light duty in his shop...I think that means smoking a cigar and playing Solitaire while in the shop! Physical Therapy is to continue 3Xs a week for approximately 2 more months and the Therapist has already told Gil he is an over achiever, surprise, surprise! The pain Gil was suffering in his shoulder for so long prior to surgery is gone.... The new shoulder is made of Titanium, Nickel, and Tantalum (had to look that one up) and is working like a fine Swiss watch! Linda
