Update . . . Bob and Betty are doing well. Bob was released from the hospital this evening and will be spending the night with his daughter Linette and her husband Reggie. Gayle Guthman arrived in record time and took care of the dogs needs and will house sit for awhile. So funny, Linette brought Bob by the house to pick up a few things while I was there helping Gayle. He looks great, BTW, painful but great. The sheriffs deputy came by to get some info during that time. He told us what happened. He was sitting at the scene of another accident when their incident occurred. The truck they were in flipped a few times and he was very worried. He went to the vehicle to check on Bob and Betty . . . the truck was upside down. The officer asked if they were OK and said that Bob said, Can you get us upright? And Betty said that she was fine. The deputy said that is a tough couple of people right there! Betty will be in the hospital for a few more days and isnt able to receive visitors yet. Im so relieved that they are doing as well as they are. I love them both and am hoping for a speedy return to business as usual for them. Gayle really is a lifesaver . . . if you need anything, shell drop everything she has going and jump in to help. Dog friends are the best friends.
