Update: Everything is coming together for us to leave for Memphis, Sunday morning. Keren and Kiara will med-evac out. Janet, Jameson, Kylie and I will take a commercial flight Sunday morning. Jameson is heart broken we wont be in town for the Seahawks-Cardinals game in December, but he has been awesome at serving his family during this time. The Stadlers, Bolins, Aunt Jill and local friends have rallied to pack our house, sell the excess, and help find storage. We will start fresh once we get back. We are unsure of how long we will be there. I have struggled with the importance material possessions have in my life for some time, but I can honestly say I am at a place finally, where I care about none of it... We have good days followed by setbacks, but she is smiling much more. Our friends, Jake and Hillary, brought a whoopee cushion and Kiara laughed and laughed as everyone who visited took a turn sitting on it. Even her doctors and nurses. The staff has been very supportive for our transfer, which is another sign of confirmation. I have found a new level of exhaustion I didnt know I had. Sometimes I cry, but no tears come out. I pray daily for strength and wisdom to lead well. Keren and I are compiling stories of funny things and remain mostly in good spirits. I continue to be humbled at the love and support you all show us. God is for us! We are encouraged by going to St. Judes, but leaving the awesome support system here is hard. I pray for Kiara to be restored quickly, so she can send you all video updates of her progress. Im off to find winter clothes as we have grown acustomed to Phoenix weather. Blessings!
