Update: cardiothorastic surgeon came in today to evaluate mom. He wanted to order another cat scan to see how much fluid he was looking at to remove. This was the empyema( infection) in her lungs. The cat scan showed the fluid is gone!!!!!! So another surgery is not needed! This was Gods plan! Thank you God for healing. My mom has a long road ahead she has to still be able to come off the ventialtor and recover from her surgery and get nourished again. I keep telling her we are here with her for every step of this. And I know she hears me...
