Update for 9-29-13 - 1 step forward, 2 steps back. Or at least that how it seems. The fever is under control and the lungs are clear. His heart rate is all over the place again. They say this could be due to the meds, but will have the cardiologist look at him again to be sure. He was basically off of his sedation drip for close to 3 hours today. He did well for the most part, but he got tire and agitated and his breathing went haywire. He is sedated again and resting comfortably. And thanks to his nurse today, I will rest comfortably in the recliner he found for me. If any of our Memphis FB friends are out and about tonight and want to bring me something to eat, I will gladly let you!
