Update for Jacob. Surgery went as planned yesterday. It was very nice of the anesthesiologist to say a prayer for Jacob before he went in. Surgeries are always scarey becsuse of coarse theres always risk with it. Im very thankful to be here at St Joseph/Barrows Neurological Institute. This is a world renowned facility with some of the best doctors in the country. We are in good hands. The nurses, techs, doctors and thetapist are fabulous as well. Now we just wait to see if the procedure worked. It was a very delicate procedure. The surgeon had to basically peel away some of the fat graph they originally put in to fix holes. They used a scope and went up through the left side of his nose. Very close to the dura which is the outer lining of the brain. First they had to fix holes and air from getting in now they want air out. All the damage of coarse was from the original accident. I pray it was enough to fix the problem. Jacob is recuperating really well. Rest today and hopefully back to therapy tomorrow. Thank you for all the prayers and positive thoughts. We are winning this battle!! :)
