Update for those following My Life With Mel. I had a PET scan a few weeks ago which I dont mind having, its a pretty simple test. The only thing I have some qualms about is the high dose of radioactive dye that must be used. (Possible side effect, cancer) Needless to say the test came back no active cancer which, you know, is a good thing. The plan is to monitor the whole system because like a creepy ex-boyfriend it may indeed come back even though its certainly not welcome. As for the other issues, walking is a pain, literally. Sitting is a pain, so is sleeping, breathing, thinking, and everything else thats associated with being human, but so long as Mel doesnt come back then all will be fine. Ill figure it out. So, thinking of a top ten list on why a tan is a bad thing. Ive got 5 so far... Number 5 waiting over two years and still being denied disability insurance...Im still waiting. Number 4, a half a dozen surgeries. Number 3 is chronic pain, swelling 24/7 Number 3 the loss of the ability to walk, sit , stand etc., and of course Number 1, death.
