Update from Byzantine drummer Matt Wolfe, who was in a near fatal car crash today on I-79 in Charleston, WV due to rainy road conditions. Please wish Matt Wolfe well! Hey guys.. Just wanted to give everyone an update on my wonderful day! The only reason Im even posting this is because youll only be able to reach me through Facebook. I wont have a cell phone until Friday afternoon, when my new one arrives. So, please dont think that Im ignoring any of you beautiful people. Anyway, to the pont... I hydroplaned on the interstate at 65-70 MPH and ended up rolling my truck around 75 yards down the road. I dont know how many times I actually rolled, but it was one heck of a ride! By all counts, I should totally be dead right now. I definitely had a guardian angel looking over me today. Im a little stoved up, and not able to breath or walk very well at the moment. But for the most part, I came out of it virtually unscathed! My phone and most everything else on board with me didnt make it out of the wreck without being broken. So, like I said.. If you need me, Ill try to check my messages on here as frequently as possible. I thank god that I didnt have any passengers or that no other drivers were hurt or killed.
